Waitress Resume Examples

Home > Employment Resource Centre > How to Write a Cover Letter and Resume > Waitress Resume Examples

The reason I have included waitress resume examples is because they are now becoming more and more required when applying for a waitress position. Many companies are now also starting to require waitress cover letters. The reason for this shift of requiring resumes for waitress positions is that many restaurants are large corporate chains. Because of that they have a process on how they accept applications for open positions whether it be for a waitress position or a clerical worker.

I have included some common skills for a waitress position that can be used in both a waitress resume and cover letter. In this waitress resume example the applicant has a solid work history so a chronological resume format was used.

This format of a waitress resume is good if you have a solid work history but have done the same exact thing at all of your previous waitress positions. It focuses more on the skills you bring to the employer instead of where you have worked.

Examples of How to Display Your Contact Information on Your Resume

For many people this is a lot tougher then you think. Should you use both your home and cell phone number? What email account should you use? Where should you place it on the page and in what font and size?
