Career Cover Letter Examples

You may
believe that cover
letters are not important but you are absolutely wrong. As a former
Hiring Manager it is a common practice that if a resume comes in
without a cover letter it gets tossed in the garbage. The basic
principle being that if someone can't do a thorough job of applying for
a position by taking two minutes writing a cover letter, how thorough

NOT send "cookie cutter" cover letters out. That
can do just as much damage as not sending a cover letter at all with
your resume. Career Cover Letter Example #1: October 25, 2008 Mr. Vincent Hernandez President Technology Inc. 123 Software Drive Suite 33 Cocoa, FL 32987 Dear Mr. Hernandez, As a sales representative with proven skills and strong sales accomplishments, I am confident that my qualifications and experience will be of interest to you. In each of my previous positions I have quickly attained consistent sales volumes and been recognized for outstanding sales achievements. I am highly proficient in all stages of the sales process. Most importantly, enthusiastic and energetic. I enjoy making sales calls and rising to the challenge of growing a territory and continually increasing sales. My selling skills are complemnted by equally strong abilities in the cucial sales planning and organization tasks. With these seasoned professional skills, I require only basic product / service training before being ready and able to jump start the sales proccess in a new position.
